Period 6

Reflection # 6

This is the first Wednesday that I do not go to internship because Wheeler school is on spring break vacation, will includes Summer Bridge. Which gives me a lot of time to get my internship work organize, get my school work done earlier so I can get more sleep after leaving work very late. I need a lot of time to think about what I want to do and bring the students, and how I want them to create their scrapbooks. I really want them to have the options of having many different materials and things to use to make the books creative. I have a lot of internship and exhibition stuff to work on and due meanwhile; having this break from internship is really helpful for me. As much as I don’t want internship to end, I can’t wait until we get to the ending of these scrapbooks, and I want to see what these students come up with by using their imaginations. For the next class we are going to write the summer bridge section, which means they write a paragraph summer bridge related only. Like they can write about their favorite summer bridge memory or day, or they can write about why they love Summer Bridge so much, and what makes the program different from any other program. Hopefully that same day we can get that done, so we can do the last section of the scrapbooks. That’s when they do a dedication page, or a quotation page. They can write one or more of their favorite quotes, also explaining what the quote means and why they like the quote so much. Or they also get the option of writing a dedication page, dedicating their scrapbook to someone special, someone who means something, and they reason why they dedicate their page to that person.
